2024-2025 ENROLLING SOON- email to visit (March and April only)

Priority is given to prior enrolled families, volunteer support, and families with older siblings so that young ages do not fill too quickly.

Class size is limited

In an effort to provide an affordable, effective, and invested homeschool community, we function as a cost share, work share, program.  In an effort to establish reliable consistency only invested tutors will provide the classroom education.  A rotating share of community work hours from parents will be requested for the following roles:

  • assist the classroom learning environment in order to maintain two adults per class
  • classroom prep / lesson set up / cleanup etc.
  • other specific activity help
  • field trips and festive events

If you are interested in becoming a tutor and attending training, please inform the director upon registration or through the contact information provided.  **Tutors needed**

Grades 3rd – 10th

The cost share per student is currently approximated at $275 for each child enrolled.  An additional drop off fee of $75 per child is charged for families who have no significant support role such as young children at home, illness, or because main support roles are filled. The enrollment fees INCLUDE tutoring expenses, group insurance, rent, and bulk supply.  TEXTBOOKS AND STUDENT CONSUMABLES NOT INCLUDED.

Single course morning option

We can allow a few students who would like to enroll in either a writing or a science course only.  We are invested in full community days, but occasionally a single course is badly needed and others would be a repeat.  Single science or writing courses are $200 not including student textbook consumables.

Fee breakdown:

Those registering later than June 15th may incur an additional amount due to missing out on bulk pricing.  Each family must own the “required” texts and show proof of ownership. In addition, each family is only required to own one SOTW story book and therefore has license approval by the company to copy the student activity book.  This will result in a lower text cost for additional children from the same family.  FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

  • Group bulk supply fee pre-paid as a non-refundable deposit toward student tuition and holds your spot for the year: $75 per person will cover learning manipulatives and consumable art supplies for festivities, rewards, timeline, history, science, art, geography, and foreign language.
  • Required textbooks and copyright licenses NOT INCLUDED in enrollment fee: texts estimated at an additional $75-$1000 depending on grade level participation.
  • Student insurance: approximated at $45 per enrolled child.  NCG Insurance is required and covers tutors, enrolled children, and any associated visitors of the enrolled children for one year for general liability and accidental medical during any group events.
  • Tutoring expenses: Tutors are parent volunteers responsible for their student enrollment expenses. However, tutoring expenses incurred in serving the classroom, tutor training, teaching supplies, classroom festivities, and mileage are reimbursed.  These expenses will be reimbursed to the tutor upon receipt submission.
  • Rent:  We pay a weekly rent to Gull Point Community Center for use for use of their facility.  This is our largest expense!
